Design Team Member, Lori Batronis, posting today for Genuinely Jane Studios.
The title of this post may be something a lot of you can relate. This year, not only does my family have the normal craziness of the holidays, but we are dealing with a relocation for my husbands job. The house will be on the market within days. Because of that, my beautiful art studio, has had to revert back to its boring grownup previous self as a formal dining room.
What used to look like this:
Now looks like this:
The studio is boxed up and waits for the day when the movers will transport it across the country to its new home. So sad!!!
Before I boxed it up, I was able to start a fabulous GJS 3D tree. Right now it is just painted green. My creativity was not flowing and I could not think of what to do next. Since boxing everything up (I knew that was going to happen), I have decided it needs some snow on each of the branches, a star topper, and maybe some little ornaments. I have not decided if I will do this all at once when I unpack, or if I want to add something each year when I get it out at Christmas time.
I want to share, that in two weeks, on Christmas day, I will be posting for the final time for my GJS Design Team term. I have chosen to take a break because of the move. I will miss EVERYONE here at GJS, but promise to keep in touch. Make sure you check back for that Christmas post. I will be sharing some of my favorite GJS projects from this fabulous year long GJS Design Team Term.
Hugs and Merry Christmas to all!!!
